I have about 8 acres of heavily wooded forest in the middle of nowhere Callahan county that anyone is welcome to on this forum. I am actively trying to clear the thorny briar. there is access to potable water and facilitiy. just putting it out there if anyone’s interested. I will post a pic of my progress as soon as I can figure out the new photobucket way of doing things. I took a picture today. There is an unlimited amount of oak fire wood.

April Meet was a great - Adventure.
Time to look at the next one.

Right now I have the June date marked, but it would be great if Jesse could find us somewhere in the hill country for maybe the Memorial Day weekend, maybe the island, so we could relive the first Soggy Bottom Boy's camp.

Thoughts/Opinions

Early Summer Day Crockett(Ratcliff Lake) Glamping Trip - June 22 - 24, 2018
Late Summer (Scott's Birthday GTG)Davy Crockett(or Neches Bluff) - September 7 - 9 2018

I'm hesitant about The Island but I have a few sources I can try. Don't get your hopes up though.

Memorial Day weekend would be a good one if we could find somewhere not over crowded. I know everything up my way gets pretty booked early on for that one.

Hope to be rejoining you guys soon, life has been, hectic, divorce progressing slowly, once things settle down, I plan on getting out again, and my 13 year old is ready to tag along.
