I have all of my stuff ready and I will be headed out to the ranch the middle of the month. Even though rifle season will have started, my plan is take one with the bow anyway. I have a small cabin on 38 acres in Rocksprings...I am fired up!

My wife will most likely use the rifle. She bowhunts too but prefers the .308 over the Bowtech honestly.

My hunting setup is a Bowtech Insanity, 70# in camo and my 3D setup is a Bowtech Invasion, 70# in Black Ops. My draw is only 28 inches so the speed on my FMJ's (Insanity) is right at 289fps. My 3D arrows (name escapes me) pushes my target arrows at 310 fps.

Good luck and God Bless!

We can make that happen with little to no effort if you're game. I've been searchin' for a new spot to have our gathering.

There is not alot of public land in Texas but there is a little in some State Parks, National Forrest's and Army Corps of Engineers land. Bow season usually begins around 10/1 and the general season usually begins first weekend in November.
