Pocket knife rebuild

Postby saustin1967 » Mon Mar 05, 2018 7:56 am

So an old friend of mine brought me this pocket knife a couple of years ago, wanted me to rebuild it.
At the time, being a novice knife maker, I did not feel that my skill level was at the point to do it justice.

Over the past couple of weekends I tackled the project.

Started life as a Kyber two blade stainless. The slip blade was broken, and the lock blade was sharpened to the point of nothing. Tore down and cleaned al the brass parts. Forged new blades from an old saw mill blade(L6 best I can tell), to a 57 rc. New Copper pins, industrial g10 scales, brass bolsters.

Man. We may have to change your tag to "Journeyman Knife Maker". LOL

Well done. I love these types of folders.
