Canvas tent

What is your favorite shelter? Tarp, light weight tent, under the stars?

Canvas tent

Found this thing for $8 at a thrift store. It's made by Lackee Joys of Milwaukee. It would be great for winter camping with no rain. Other than that it's just cool to look at. This would not be a lightweight option for the death march. The front pole actually goes inside the tent, but it was missing the plastic foot so I kept it outside.

No Mullet has bought himself a Dodge truck so the prodigal jeep has returned home.

Awesome find. Does it have any type of coating on it to shed water, because... well... you know.

It is is/was coated, but I sprayed it with the water hose and the inside was completely wet. Yes this tent will never be utilized a TxBushcraft event unless I use it in conjunction with a
waterproof bivy.

Go to Harbor Freight and get one of those power painters and spray that little humble abode with Thompsons Water Seal inside and out.
