As the title says, this rarely gets outside of arms reach.
I guess you could call it EDC, but I generally use that term to refer to the stuff in my pockets.

Top is my TBT-01. Bottom is the factory kydex sheath with homemade dangler.
Left to right is: ferro rod, diamond sharpener, Gorilla tape, jute twine, PJCB fire straws, mini Bic, lip balm, and ranger bands. All stuffed into a snus can. Of course, the ferro rod and diamond rod ride under the ranger bands around the sheath.

It boils down to my most trusted woods tool and several ways to make fire.
Not even close to a full blown 'survival kit', but with proper skills and all this, I'd be good for at least 72 really sucky hours, if needed.

Nice rig. Looks like it would be easy to add a big needle, a large trash bag (shelter or poncho) and a small fishing kit. You usually wear a paracord bracelet anyway don't you.

Yep, paracord bracelet and a leather cobra weave, also.

I generally have a full on 72+ hour kit in the truck and a 5 C's kit for short hikes away from camp. But, this goes almost everywhere with me. Even right now (sitting with Pops at the hospital) it's in my "Book Bag" while the other gear is in the truck, in the parking lot.

I like the rig there. It is similar to the one I did on my Pathfinder 1. I just can't get use to the Trackers, they are just to bulky for me to carry around on my belt. I wouldn't mind having one in my truck though, but it wouldn't get used much.

I don't know what it is about the WSK knives, but they sing for me. I don't mind the almost 2lbs hanging on me. I've only been using them for about a year now, and have not looked back.

The Troll quote is from Sir Terry Pratchett's Disk World series. I believe it's from either "Guards Guards" or "Men at Arms".
I highly recommend reading them for a humorous look at our human foibles.

I would like to get a fist around one of those for about an hour to give it a try.

Having a little soiree over at Ratliff near Lufkin, the first weekend of August. And one (somewhere) the first weekend of October.
Drop on by, there will be at least one WSK for you to play with.

The "Bacon" stamp just makes it all the better.

Just like you like it.
