Never thought about a meet in a State Park. Wouldn’t have to worry about hunting season.

It's like the dreaded doldrums when you're out at sea, not much going on lately. Hunting season starts in a month, 4 weeks to get out and grab some solitude!

I tried to get out yesterday with the boys for an overnight but it was hotter than we wanted and our normally quiet spot had someone blaring music the whole time nearby, so we left.

Yes, very warm still. The few cool mornings at Sam Houston were a nice change, and I'm ready for more of those.

Went wading and fly fishing on the Frio River with #2 grandson on Saturday. Now I can't put my arms down because of these pumps that came up in my armpits.
