Stuff to pass the time

Postby kaywoodie » Tue May 22, 2018 7:46 am

I will try to make a habit to visit here more often. When time allows I generally make for my shop here on the place and piddle a bit. Being I’m stuck here most of the time its a welcome getaway. This past late winter I finished out a heavy linen haversack I started a while back and outfitted it with some gear. Lines it with striped ticking. I happened to find several cans of Filson’s wax laying about (we sold Filson products at the shop where I was employed and these cans seem to get left over) so I waxed the linen up nice with it.

Jesse,

I reenforced the buttonhole area with a square of leather. The button is a repro Colonial French Marine Justaucorps button.
