Looking for some decent places within two hours to camp the way we do. Hey Scott, I found that using a hammock top quilt to be ideal even on the ground when using a pad. I switched from sleeping bags a year ago and love the convenience of no zipper to fight. Many makers offer snaps at the neck with a draw cord to cinch it up on the cold nights but for most of the year...
