Re: Army Corp of Engineers in Grapevine

The only bushcraft in Dallas happens at hourly rate motels and is not for the morally intact.

Re: SNOVID restock

Nice pile of fireplace stuffings but hopefully you won't need that for another ten months!

If another snowstorm shows up I'm going to be looking into a passport and southbound airfare.

Of all the fancy, expensive contraptions made to split wood rounds..

Nothing is better than heaving a splitting maul into your wood and sending it all sailing into the nearest counties and making half the job retrieval!

Re: Ye Olden Days of the San Saba Rendy.

I remember freezing halfway to death in a sleeping bag and hammock rig around '17 or '18 when the drizzling rain and ice set up. Skinny people d...

Ye Olden Days of the San Saba Rendy.

Was cleaning up el computadora and came across a few good times. Thought to share them again anyway. That was a lot of fun camping with you all and others in San Saba! Made my first bowdrill fire, ate at Jeffro's camp every time I smelled food and met some of the nicest people! I miss it. I'd like t...

Re: Ratcliff

It's funny in a strange way how the boom goes bust and yesterday's big business can be tomorrow's ghost town. I think about that a lot when I pass abandoned town sites or small Texas towns that are shells of their former self. That goofy antique store you see on main street was likely the heart of t...
