It is that. It can take the place of a hatchet and a machete. That's one of the reasons I like it.

I don't know of any uses for it, but I have heard it is one of the reasons our lake is so low. The lake is surrounded by salt ceder, and from what I've heard they suck up millions of gallons a year. I should go check it out.
