Have several kinds of Yucca around here, make's great cordage and the dry flower stalks are great for friction fire, Nice job jesse. Peace

Another vote for Yucca, it grows everywhere here in North/Central East Texas.. but I have made it from barks and vines also.. not as strong as yucca.. I just harvested a bunch for teaching, hands on is the best way to learn.

A convienient willow tree will give some handy wythies.
