I have been carrying this rifle in the woods lately (when it is allowed). It is a Tula made T03-78-01. I think it cost me about $120, 15 years ago. Standard bolt action 22. With a five and a 10 round magazine. We are site is a rotary affair in the eastern European style, graduated from 25 to 100 yards in 25 yard increments. It is light and handy and nearly indestructible. It’s very accurate. It has a funky weird Beachwood stock that’s painted some red color.
This rifle has accounted for squirrels and rabbits so far and although I’m not the best shot, I’ve never felt the need to put a scope on it.
I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for European a 22s.
