There is usually a couple of regular 120 volt 20 amp receptacles just like at home. If there is a 30 amp receptacle it will usually be 120 volt as that is common among travel trailers. If it is a bigger RV it will usually be 50 amp, 240 volts.Pointman wrote:Jeffro! These boys need some schoolin'. The 30A outlet I think is 220v but there are at least 4 of the 20A-120v outlets available.

Re: Tips on Camp Cooking
If anyone is curious. I got my dutch ovens in. I bought a 12" and a 10" from Camp Chef. The 12" has feet on top of the lid to be used as a skillet. Thought that would come in handy. Used the 12" tonight after seasoning them a few days ago and it was a success thanks to Jeffro's recipes.
I'll keep you all informed on my future dutch oven/camp cooking adventures.
PS: My original date for our Thanksgiving vacation has been pushed to the first weekend of Dec and of course rain is on the report as expected. Oh well.

Go to Academy and pick up some of the Dutch Oven Liners. They are made of parchment paper and preshaped to a 12" oven. If you are only baking such as a cobbler they work great, make clean up a snap.

Crock pot liners work also, if you are using charcoal.
Not so much if you are cooking on a fire.
