Well pizza is one of my favorite things to eat, so I thought I’d transfer this love to the camp out. I think this is a 12” oven but there are no size markings on it. Coals were generated from some really hard black oak.
Ingredients in no special amount:
Pillsbury pizza dough (2 cans. Threw some away)
Pizza sauce
Onions (sliced and spring onions)
Pepperoni
Chopped BACON
Black olives
Fresh jalapeño
Garlic salt
H-E-B Italian 6 cheese blend
Italian seasoning
I put everything, except cheese and Italian seasoning, together and cooked for 20 minutes. Then added cheese and seasoning. Cooked additional 7 minutes. Removed from heat.

I burned the bottom to charcoal. Need to adjust my lower heat and cook time. Maybe 10 minutes then add the cheese. I want to master cooking with the abundance of oak I have around me instead of charcoal. This was actually one of my first really bad screw ups. Still scooped all the toppings into the ample knuckles on the side of pot and cut off the burned bottom part and it was friggin delicious.
