NP Continued

Post by Pointman » Sun Jun 23, 2013 6:58 am

On the far end of the preserve there is a really nice pond with a trail that skirts the pond then back into the woods. About 6 months ago I weighed in at 315lbs. This is the heaviest I have ever been and having been a bodybuilder and personal trainer at one time I decided it was time to leave the computer and get my ass moving again. I am currently tipping the scales at around 270 and still have 40 lbs to go. With this new resource so close by for hiking, I'm sure by the end of the summer I'll be halfway to reaching my goal. Wish I knew how to upload more than three pics at a time. Sorry.

Its a three limit max per post. The best way to work around that is to "reply" to your own post, then attach more photos.

It's located near The Sandy Lake Amusement Park just west on Sandy Lake Rd. off I-35E in Carrollton. I went again this morning with a friend of mine and took my pace beads this time. If you make one trip all the way around it's 9.2 miles. There is another bycicle trail (paved) across the street from the parking area that adds some distance but it's only about 1/4 to 3/8 mile long. You are welcome to join me anytime.
