Last Light Buck (MLDP)

Post by BigJesse » Sat Feb 27, 2021 12:38 pm

Ill set the scene.
It's the last weekend to hunt MLDP. I'm the last hunter at the ranch. It's the last 30 minutes of legal shooting.
I'm using my 8" 300 BO and 2 shooters come out, both too far for me to feel comfortable with the 300. I'm handed a 28 Nosler and take the shot. It's a little forward but it does the job.
19¾" outside spread 8pt.

Thanks fellas.
I feel very humbled to have so many great friends with so many different skills, hobbies, and resources.
It doesn't escape me how lucky I am to have these opportunities.

Nice! Unfortunately all I see are knife and file handles on his head.

Had it not been my first buck I'd see the same.

I only say so, because my wife drew the line on bringing antlers, let alone heads, in the house.
