Did some research on stocks and LOP (length of pull). Decided to go with the ACS-L by Magpul. It's 2 inches longer and has a strong cheek weld. I'll be out Saturday to take it for a test spin.
Next will be an Ergo Tactical grip.

Here is the final form (for awhile at least)
Added the Ergo Tactical grip. The large palm swell and more vertical hold is MUCH more comfortable.

Nice Jessie, How does it shoot? Also you get to start having gun playing with some of the old military tactical gear and bush crafting it. Lots of that stuff is great for both tactical stuff and bushcraft stuff. I love my LBV-88 harness set and it can hold 6 mags if i don't want to use it as a bushcraft rig. I would start with some of the older ALICE stuff, like the LBE rig you can find old mag pouches for little to nothing. or if you want more modern stuff this is a great price on pouches: http://www.ebay.com/itm/132005299674?_t ... especially when paired with one of these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182428900359?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
"Well, crap I left it in the other pack." Words of a bushcraft gear junkie.

Thanks Bill.
For anyone that was curious about the trigger problem I was having. It was a burr on the disconnect. I polished it up using this video. Releases beautifully now.

That's awesome Jess. Rifle looks more comfortable now.
Should serve you well. Need to double check that zero with the longer stock, probably changed it some.

If I may just make 2 suggestions for changes I made on mine that made it way more fun and accurate during speed shooting. The first was a cmc single stage drop in trigger. I went with the 3.5 pound flat blade which makes it very quick and when you slow it down you get a very nice and crisp break. Also I found a knock off jp compensator on amazon for like 19 bucks. Even though the 556 doesn't give much recoil at all you'll notice a pretty significant difference in the ability to stay on target during rapid fire.
