Sterling and I are going to DCNF. We might put something together right after Thanksgiving. Campsites are usually empty cuz most folks are sitting around the house fat and lazy eating leftover turkey. I always try to get out to the trees around then. Let me know if you or your buds are interested and we'll firm something up.

Yeah and no skeeters. It's the only time I can get my wife outta the house and into the woods. You just sleep soooooo much better all nestled up in a hammock with an underquilt all toasty and warm.

Speaking of under quilts, did you buy on that was made for a hammock or right up one of your own?

Ha-Ha! I'm just use a down comforter and rig it up to hang under the hammock and use clips to close off the ends. Lame I know but I've been too busy (and lazy) to get it sewed up right and proper with draw strings at the ends.

On it thank you Scott. Wish everyone could get together more. It's awsome learning from everyone and sharing the knowledge

Costco also has down "picnic blankets" for $20 that are good for over and under quilts

Got one but it doesn't keep you very warm if the temps get around 50-60 or so. That stupid down comforter has kept me toasty in freezing temps.
