The opposite of roughing it. Well be at National Park sites in Ratcliff Recreational Area with water and electric. Just a bunch of like minded people talking about guns and knives. Tents and high powered fans. LOL

Hey, I'm in the Tyler area. Between Whitehouse and Flint. I'm brand-new here, like you. You're right, it is hard to find people and places around here to enjoy this hobby. Good to meet you and I hope we can work out a good meet up sometime.

I am just South of you, in Pollok.
I am 15 minutes from Davy Crockett.

And, just so you know we do not always go Glamping. This is a special event we do every year at Ratcliff. Most likely thet last camp before deer season begins, to hot to be out in the brush really. We do camp more rustically during the cooler months, Next one after this one will be in February, typically it is at Neches Bluff, but we will have to check that out, as that area was devastated by the tornado that came through back in May.

Do come out and introduce yourself, we will be glad to have you in camp. Even if just for the day, bring the kids make a day of it.
