Ok Scott, this method is expensive. For a basic setup it looks like around $4000 to start and it goes up from there. I'm sure it would be cheaper to DIY one, but even then it would
probably be more than i spent on all of my blacksmithing tools. I could buy a 500# anvil and several tons of coal and still have money to go to Texas Knifemakers Supply.

I'll stick with coal and and work on a gas forge for a winter project.
