Re-tarp at Middle Camp

Post by kg5cbd » Fri Jul 05, 2019 11:16 am

Reconfigure the tarp at our semi permanent camp. We use this area called Middle Camp as a wood processing camp. Since we cook almsot predominantly with hard woods and some cedar and our land had not been managed for some 30 years before we bought it, we needed a central location. We try hard to stay as natural as possible and respect Nature.
My buddies love to be in the woods and always have a great time. They can also warn me of snakes! Copperheads are sneaky!
First real post here and hope to get the pics correctly.Image

The dogs definitely enjoy it.
It's good having it up like that in the summer. Keeps the breeze but still blocks the sun.

It catches a good breeze. Had the north end lower and when a gust would blow it would kick up dust so I opened it back up. I have it set to be pulled down low on two sides for extra rain protection when needed.
