Kind of damp out there

Post by jeffro »

The rain has been coming down for a few days now. Been coming nice and slow so no real flash flooding but we have got plenty of standing water. I have been wearing my wading boots just trying to keep my feet dry.

Im sick of it. My kid had a blow out on the 0-turn, and I have missed the last 2 mowing's. With this rain and sunshine, I may need to brush-hogg before I can mow.

Even with the rain I still got out last night. I was in Sulphur Springs, about a 2 hour drive away, and the state park has screen shelters. So I bunked there! Perfect sleeping weather, slightly cool, and an almost constant slow rain.

That would be perfect if they had sheet iron roofs. If that was me I'd probably still be sleeping.
