San Antonio camping

Post by jdeering » Mon Feb 27, 2017 7:27 pm

Looking for some decent places within two hours to camp the way we do. I am new to the area and know very little about where are the best places to look where open fire cooking and primitively style camping is aloud.... or maybe places that aren't crowded and the rules are flexible?

Thanks guys.

You might try the Hill Country Stare Natural Area near Bandera. I believe they have a primitive camping area.
