Hey guys, looking to get into Ham radio and was wondering if anyone here was in the hobby.

Cool, I just ordered the study guide and am planning on taking the class with my son so we can both get our Tech license to start. Then start playing with some hand helds.

KF5POB Duncanville technician here but have a bit of ham gear as well, yaesu 101E, yaesu 8900, yaesu 1900R, wauxon handheld, and a striker 10m radio. along with a galaxy 11m cb.

K9MIB here. General Class ham, but I mainly tool around on the 2m repeater networks
