So back to the question. Where and when. I just got an invite from OMRebel, over on BUCUSA, for Coon Point on Toledo Bend. It is paddle in. About a mile across the lake to a camp area on the Texas side.

Anyone interested?

Let’s say, the June date at Ratcliff park.

Ratcliff sounds fine to me if nothing else gets in my way...

The trip with OM Rebel makes me want to get my sailboat done, or at least oar ready. (nothing fancy, see PDRacer (dot) com ) It's a 3 day project that is going on 4 years now....

Don’t think he got any takers on the Coon point trip. Seeker and Forestree both out of town that week.

So being a native Texican are you going to drive up to the campsite, stand upon the shoreline with your whip and beat a cadence on a drum while them Louisiana boys row like galley slaves across the lake?

No drive up, water access only.

Coon Point sounds fun, but until I get the floor done in the addition I'm grounded.

Are you looking at Coon Point as another rondy site?

No, the LA boys have a couple of meets there during the summer months. Some interest was expressed over on BCUSA for Memorial Day weekend. But it did not pan out, I don’t think.
