Howdy

Post by humblesmith » Tue Feb 05, 2019 12:06 pm

I just stumbled upon this forum having heard a brief quote about it in a youtube video. I've been an amateur bushcrafter for years, off and on. I studied wild edible plants quite a bit years ago, then growing trees, then photographing nature. I've also been interested in what the pioneers had to do to survive. I always liked the designs in nature and how interesting the animals and plants are. I spend my spare time in the woods of east Texas.

Welcome to the forum. You're in luck. We have the majority of our meet ups in East Texas. Specifically Davy Crockett NF and Sam Houston NF with Angelina NF and a few other thrown in.

As a matter of fact, this weekend we'll be at Neches Bluff. About 20 of us. Short notice but feel free to swing by and say "hi". We'll have a wild edibles instructor out there teaching a few classes.
